In the interim, Pontiac was struggling with its sales. As per his last commitment to Universal Studios, this was the selected storyline for his upcoming TV series. Larson had around 8 to 10 scripts with him, and he randomly picked one from it, sitting around his temporary office at Century Fox, and it was this awesome talking car, Knight Rider.
